John Gleason reports they are now running "summer" hours open early and staying open late.  They did some nice work and moved things around in the store and it is open & airy with more product on the shelves this season of you anglers.

To start our third year, we'll make a promise to you that we will beat any price on our fresh and frozen baits. Just our way of saying thanks to our new and what is becoming a very loyal group of customers. Your satisfaction is the most important part of our business, if you're not happy...than we're not either. We aim to please any way we can. We're trying on a daily basis to stock all the tackle you could possibly need which is out pleasure to do...so if you don't see something, don't be shy, ask us and we'll get it for you and if we can't, we'll tell you where you can. Tackle, rods and reels and basically all the equipment we use is constantly changing and advancing. We are trying hard to keep up with all the new products so if you've heard of something new let us know and we'll get right on it.

We feature our own hand tied Striper, Fluke, Blackfish and Sea Bass rigs and we guarantee them to catch fish or your money back. Just kidding, no money back. We also stock all crabbing items from overnighters to your basic four door or pyramid traps. Custom made two door traps in red. black, yellow and green along with multi colored traps too. Crab nets from a simple five foot wooden handle scoop to a 12 foot telescoping net. Crab baskets, hand throws, gloves and tongs...yep we got them. We will assemble any trap you buy for free and last year we were called the "CRAB TRAP KINGS " by one of the largest bait and tackle wholesale suppliers on Long Island. Look for upcoming specials and special tournament dates and get those kids ready for our "Second Annual Snapper Slapper Derby" coming in August.

Our mission is very simple...Customer Service! What other shops fail to realize is even in the tackle business...we are a service based industry and we do not give you service you don't come back. Those of you old enough to remember Skip Gerdes when he had Skippy's all those years ago, know what we're talking about and that is the same courtesy and service we strive to fulfill. When you need us we will be here with early and long hours for you offshore fisherman, surf lures and bait for surfcasters and everything you need to fish and crab the docks at Bay Park, even something as simple as small triangle crab trap for your kids. We will carry it all for you and if we don't have it...we will get it for you!
